Therapy/Rehabilitation - PT Outpatient @ BJC West - Wright Memorial Hospital

<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>PT - Physical Therapist Outpatient</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM shift primarily in outpatient setting<br>• See approximately 8 patients per day with daily census of 8<br>• Minimum 1 year of experience required, 2 years strongly preferred<br>• Previous charge experience preferred<br>• State license required with BLS certification preferred<br>• Must be proficient in documentation including assessment, discharge, evaluation, long term goals, plan of care, reassessments, and short term goals<br>• Experience with various equipment including bed alarms, call lights, crutches, gait belts, hospital beds, Hoyer lifts, prosthetics, walkers, and traction tables required<br>• Skills in body mechanics, pain assessment, strength testing, and vital signs monitoring needed<br>• Work with geriatric and orthopedic patient populations<br>• Float within service line as needed to meet facility requirements<br>• Dress code requires khaki pants and black top<br>• Chart using EPIC system<br>• Guaranteed minimum of 3 shifts per 13-week contract<br>• 16 hours of orientation required<br>• Must complete pre-start EPIC training modules and various compliance training<br>• Provide care for swingbed skilled care, inpatient acute, and outpatient services</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This critical access hospital features a comprehensive rehabilitation department that provides inpatient, swingbed skilled care, and outpatient services. The facility operates with 25 total staffed beds and maintains a focus on delivering quality care across multiple service lines.
