Physical Therapist Outpatient Job in Trenton, MO

BJC West - Wright Memorial Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist for outpatient rehabilitation services in Trenton, Missouri. This 91-day travel assignment runs 5 days per week on day shift, working 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Position Details:

• See approximately 8 patients per day in the outpatient setting
• Work with geriatric and orthopedic patient populations
• Float within the service line as needed to support swingbed skilled care, inpatient acute care, and outpatient services
• Chart using the EPIC system
• Guaranteed minimum of 3 shifts per 13-week contract

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience; 2 years strongly preferred
• Valid state PT license
• BLS certification preferred
• Proficiency in documentation including assessment, discharge, evaluation, long-term goals, plan of care, reassessments, and short-term goals
• Previous charge experience preferred

Essential Skills:

• Strength testing, pain assessment, and vital signs monitoring
• Proper body mechanics and patient handling
• Proficiency with equipment including bed alarms, call lights, crutches, gait belts, hospital beds, Hoyer lifts, prosthetics, walkers, and traction tables

Onboarding:

• 16 hours of orientation provided
• Pre-start EPIC training modules required
• Various compliance training required prior to start

• Weekly pay: $2,514.24
