Medical Lab Technician Job in Rockford, IL

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Medical Lab Technician for a 91-day travel assignment at Swedish American in Rockford, IL. This is a full-time position working 5x8 days per week, starting September 28, 2026.

Position Overview

You will work in a fast-paced, busy laboratory environment within a mid to large hospital setting. Your role will involve performing routine and specialized laboratory tests with accuracy and efficiency. You'll be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering timely and reliable results that support patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests and analyses in a generalist capacity or within hematology/coagulation or chemistry specialties
• Maintain accuracy and quality standards in test processing and reporting
• Operate laboratory equipment and instrumentation
• Follow established protocols and safety procedures
• No on-call or after-hours responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• MLS or MLT certification required
• ASCP or AMT certification required
• Mid to large hospital laboratory experience
• Experience as a generalist or in hematology/coagulation or chemistry
