Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work on a 12-bed medical surgical telemetry unit
• EKG/Telemetry background preferred
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (for charge nurses)
• AHA certifications are required
• Must have 2 years of experience in specialty
• First-time travelers accepted
• Less than 2 years of experience accepted
• Floating to all inpatient units required
• Must work every other weekend and every other holiday
• No on-call requirements
• Block scheduling not available on this unit
• Work with Alaris Pumps special equipment
• Must be over 65 miles from facility (no local travelers accepted)
• Compact or Louisiana license required upon submittal
• NURSYS reports must be submitted with profile
• No call-ins allowed
• Orientation held 5 days a week
• May be assigned to Emergency Team during emergency events with expectation to stay at facility
