CT Technologist Job in Bronx, NY

You will work as a CT Technologist at St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, NY on a 8-hour shift basis. This is an 89-day travel assignment starting May 11, 2026, with a weekly pay of $3,146.

Schedule: You will work Saturday 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM and Sunday 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

Your Responsibilities:

• Operate computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-section images of patients' internal organs and tissues
• Accurately interpret physician's scanning instructions and prepare equipment accordingly
• Position patients properly to capture appropriate diagnostic images
• Administer contrast materials when needed
• Follow proper radiation safety procedures to protect both yourself and your patients
• Assist disabled patients and maneuver equipment as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience
• High school diploma or equivalent with completion of an A.M.A. approved school for radiologic technology
• Advanced training in CT technology
• New York State Radiologic Technologist license
• Current ARRT certification
• Advanced certification as a CT technologist
• Current BLS certification
• New York State certification for contrast injections
• Pass required CT competency test
