ED RN Night Shift Job in Springfield, MA

Baystate Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This is a travel assignment with a 91-day duration, beginning September 7, 2026. You will work 3x12 night shifts and earn $2,860 weekly.

Role Overview

You will provide direct patient care in a large, high-acuity emergency care unit with 118 beds. Your responsibilities include managing a mixed acuity patient population with typical nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:6. You will care for patients across multiple acuity levels, including behavioral health cases, boarding patients, emergency and trauma presentations, and critically ill ICU-level patients.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure
• Minimum 2 years of ED or ICU experience post-orientation
• BLS certification (required)
• ACLS certification (required)
• Must be located outside a 90-mile radius from the facility
• Ability to manage complex and unstable patients
• Strong critical care skills with demonstrated adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
