Neuro ICU RN Job in Indianapolis, IN

Franciscan Health Indianapolis is seeking an experienced RN for a 91-day travel assignment in our Neuro ICU, starting July 27, 2026. You will work 3 consecutive 12-hour day shifts weekly (7:00 AM to 7:30 PM) with 36 guaranteed hours per week and every other weekend commitment. No call requirements.

Role Details:

• Provide direct patient care in a specialized 10-bed Neuro ICU unit with patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3
• Specialize in neurosurgical and neurological intensive care, including care of hemodynamically unstable and mechanically ventilated patients
• Perform comprehensive neurological assessments and manage complex patient populations
• Float to other inpatient areas when home unit census is low

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN license in the state of Indiana
• Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience
• Neuro ICU experience with demonstrated competency in neurological assessment
• ACLS, BLS certifications required
• Ability to pass EKG testing

Patient Population & Experience:

• Care for patients with ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, post-operative craniotomy, seizures, encephalopathy, and neurologic tumors
• Preferred experience with pupillometer, EVD, ICP waveform management, CRRT, and Epic EMR

Equipment & Systems:

• Work with Alaris Pumps, Arctic Sun, Prismax, EV 1000, and Neuroptics Pupillometer
• Epic EMR system

Dress Code: Navy scrubs required; hoodies are not acceptable attire.

Weekly Pay: $2,233.80
