Respiratory Therapist Job in New Orleans, LA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a travel position at Ochsner Medical Center - New Orleans. This is a 91-day assignment beginning May 11, 2026, with 4x12 day shifts.

Compensation & Schedule

• Weekly pay: $2,556
• 4x12 day shifts
• Every other weekend coverage required

Position Requirements

• Minimum 2 years respiratory therapy experience (new graduates not accepted)
• Current RRT or CRT certification with state license
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Compact or Louisiana license must be in hand at submission
• First-time travelers accepted if experienced
• Must reside more than 65 miles from facility (no local applicants)
• Two manager or supervisor references required for clearance

Clinical Scope

You will provide respiratory care to adult and geriatric patient populations in the Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics specialty. Epic charting system experience is preferred.

Facility Information

Orientation is conducted 5 days per week with billable modules. You may be assigned to the "Emergency Team" with the expectation to remain on-site during emergency events. This position has a strict no call-in attendance policy.

• If you previously worked as permanent staff at this facility, you must be separated for a full 1 year before returning as a travel employee
