<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - ED ER</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work in 101-bed Emergency Department with 4:1 patient ratios typically for medical patients, up to 7:1 for ED behavioral holds<br>• Schedule requires every other weekend, must meet department needs and cannot commit to block scheduling<br>• Float within all sections of the Emergency Department (no floating outside ED)<br>• Use Baxter pumps, GE monitors, and Cerner documentation system<br>• Required certifications before start date: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS<br>• ENPC certification required within 90 days of hire<br>• Minimum 2 years nursing experience with at least 1 year in ER setting required<br>• Experience in Level 2 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, high volume >100,000 visit ED preferred<br>• Previous HCA experience preferred<br>• Must demonstrate teamwork mentality and ability to coach and give feedback in real time<br>• Flexibility to work in all areas of the ED required<br>• Follow AIDET principles, respectful behavior, and patient experience standards<br>• Update patient boards and keep patients informed throughout their visit<br>• Dress code requires navy scrubs (all navy, all white, or combination of navy and white)<br>• 4-hour hospital orientation followed by 8-hour floor shift<br>• Tobacco use prohibited on all campus properties including parking areas</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility operates a high-volume Emergency Department serving over 100,000 visits annually as a Level 2 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center.
