Job Details:

• Competently perform routine and specialized breast procedures to produce quality diagnostic images for physicians and other healthcare providers
• Support diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease through precise imaging procedures
• Work independently, exercising sound judgment and developed clinical skills to execute safe and accurate procedures in a timely manner
• Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, their families/support groups, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment and effective communication
• Perform 3-D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, screening mammograms, and digital mammography procedures
• Conduct digital quality assurance procedures and adhere to radiation safety protocols
• Follow isolation precautions and PPE guidelines as required
• Serve outpatient population including adults and geriatric patients with a daytime patient ratio of 4
• May be responsible for performing specific procedures and/or orienting other staff to the department
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure patient privacy and safety
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Required certifications: ARRT M, ARRT R, BLS (AHA or ARC)
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• At least 2 professional references obtained within the last year required
