ED RN Job in Tucson, AZ

Northwest Medical Center seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department on a 91-day travel assignment beginning April 27, 2026. You will work a 3x12 night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a 48-hour guarantee consideration.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to Emergency Department patients using the Nursing Process in accordance with Arizona Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in planning and delivering safe patient care
• Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience levels
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Float to other departments as needed

Required Qualifications

• Current RN licensure
• 2 years of nursing experience
• Cerner EMR experience
• Willingness to work night shifts and float assignments

Preferred Qualifications

• Charge nurse experience (additional $3/hour compensation)
• NIH certification
