<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Med Surg Tele</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM<br>• Patient ratios of 1:5-6 for days, nights, and weekends<br>• Every other weekend requirement<br>• No on-call responsibilities<br>• Float within scope to meet facility needs and between like units<br>• 2 years of nursing experience required<br>• First-time travelers accepted<br>• SC license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start<br>• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS; NIH preferred<br>• Telemetry competency required<br>• Previous charge experience preferred<br>• Community hospital experience preferred<br>• Royal blue scrubs required<br>• Epic charting system<br>• Free parking provided<br>• 24-hour orientation<br>• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks<br>• Block schedule accommodation possible but not guaranteed<br>• Must be aware of hurricane season emergency response team assignments from June through November</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This acute care hospital is a 286-bed Level III Trauma facility that provides comprehensive medical services to the community. The facility features modern Epic charting systems and offers extensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy services. The medical surgical telemetry unit maintains a 36-patient daily census with 43 total beds and treats patients with conditions including diabetes, hypertension, coronary artery disease, seizures, stroke, and chronic renal disease.</p><p><strong>Location:</strong></p><p>Orangeburg, SC</p><p>Orangeburg offers a charming Southern community atmosphere with rich history and cultural attractions, located in the heart of South Carolina.
