Description
Opportunity:
Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology
Job Details:
• 13-week travel assignment
• Shift typically runs from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with hours subject to variation based on patient needs
• Must arrive early to receive isotopes, perform floods, and complete quality control checks
• Procedures begin at 7:30 AM
• Administer a variety of nuclear isotopes for the purpose of scanning and detecting pathology
• Regulate equipment used to scan, and print, develop, and organize films
• Provide timely diagnostic and therapeutic services to both inpatient and outpatient populations under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols
• Perform Cardiolites, isolated MUGAs, and Amyloid studies
• Operate Dual Head CorCams and utilize Cedars Sinai software
• Must have cardiac experience
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Required certifications: CNMT, BLS
• Must be a graduate of an accredited AMA program and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), or hold a State License as a general radiographer or NMT, or hold a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) registry
