Operating Room RN Job in Palmer, Alaska

You will work as an Operating Room Circulator at Mat-Su Regional Medical Center in Palmer, Alaska. This is a 91-day travel position with 4x10 day shifts, working 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 patient care as OR Circulator
• Coordinate patient care activities and ensure sterility protocols are maintained
• Manage surgical supplies and equipment across six operating rooms
• Document surgeries and maintain accurate medical records using Cerner electronic medical records system
• Support general, orthopedic, orthopedic spine, vascular, and urology procedures
• Float between units as needed
• Respond to call requirements as part of position responsibilities

What You Need

• 2–5 years of experience as an RN Circulator
• Current RN licensure
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification preferred (facility will assist with obtaining)
• AORN certification preferred

Position Details

• Start date: June 15, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,482
• No block scheduling; no 48-hour shifts
• Maximum return to offer is 2 weeks; blackout period during July 4th
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Must live greater than 50 miles from facility
