MRI Tech - MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Work weekend days from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday holidays
• On-call and callback responsibilities per unit needs
• This is an 8-week position
• Operate MRI machine efficiently and maintain clean, safe scanning facility
• Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to ensure comfort
• Insert IVs when necessary for testing procedures
• Document all procedures while maintaining patient confidentiality
• Provide patient care tasks as needed
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging
• Must stand for extended periods during procedures
• Two years of MRI technologist experience required
• BLS certification from American Heart Association required
• GE Scanner experience required for consideration
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• Certification through ARRT required
• Injection certification required for consideration
• NYS Rad Tech license must be obtained after starting
• Associate degree in magnetic resonance imaging or radiology required
