RN - Wound Care

Job Details:

• Conduct patient assessments for wound care services based on patient age, need, and changes in condition
• Collaborate and communicate with physicians and other healthcare team members to coordinate daily patient care plans
• Communicate patients' plan of care to co-workers and between shifts and departments
• Provide competent, compassionate, and cost-effective patient care in accordance with hospital policies and evidence-based nursing practice
• Delegate tasks appropriately to team members based on legal scopes of practice and individual capability
• Monitor patient care interventions, assess therapies, evaluate outcomes, and intervene as warranted
• Accurately document and update all treatment information in the patient's electronic health record (EHR)
• Develop and implement formal teaching and transition planning that includes the patient and family
• Valid California RN License required
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC)
• Previous travel experience required
• EPIC experience required
• Wound care certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Valid Driver's License required
• 2 references obtained within the last year required
