Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Maintain a 1:6 patient ratio
• Minimum 1 year current acute care hospital Med/Surg experience required
• BLS certification required
• CRRN certification preferred
• ACLS certification preferred
• Knowledge of Quality Indicator scoring in post-acute setting preferred
• Must pass Airstrip telemetry competency for telemetry patients
• Assist in rehabilitation care plan established by interdisciplinary team
• Perform lab draws, IV antibiotics, IV medications as needed, and blood administration as needed
• Conduct head to toe assessments
• Use equipment including patient lifts, iSTAT, glucometer, and wound vac for dressing changes
• Administer inhalers and breathing treatments
• Work with Meditech EMR system
• Educate patients and family members on care plan and rehabilitation program
• Demonstrate good communication skills and serve as patient advocate
