RN - CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day/evening shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• 3 shifts per week with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• On-call responsibilities required
• May float in rotation, including floating as a sitter
• Washington State or Compact RN licensure required
• CVOR experience required
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Coordinate and provide high quality patient care utilizing the nursing process and unit specific standards of practice
• Develop, implement, and continually reassess individualized patient plans of care
• Administer medications and complete nursing procedures and/or treatments
• Continually evaluate discharge plans for appropriateness, educational needs, and necessary changes
• Accurately document care provided, assessments, plans of care, interventions, and patient responses
• Collect patient information needed to provide safe, high quality care
• Complete holistic ongoing assessments of patient status and respond appropriately
• Address physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs of patients
• Educate patients, families, and significant others on appropriate health information in a timely manner
• Maintain current knowledge base of workflows, processes, and evidence-based procedures
• Delegate appropriately and oversee care provided by non-licensed assistive personnel
• Communicate and collaborate with all members of the healthcare team
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff in accordance with hospital and unit policies
• Must adhere to applicable unit standards and consistently function within the guidelines of the Washington Nurse Practice Act
