NICU RN Job in Canton, GA

Northside Hospital Cherokee in Canton, GA is seeking a registered nurse for the neonatal intensive care unit. This is a travel assignment with an 89-day duration, beginning October 26, 2026.

Role and Schedule

• Work 12-hour night shifts, 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM
• Variable schedule
• Weekly pay: $1,651

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent NICU experience
• AHA BLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Experience with Cerner electronic health records system required
• Travel candidates only—no local applicants within 50 miles

You will provide direct bedside care to critically ill newborns in a Level III neonatal setting. Your responsibilities include assessment, monitoring, medication administration, family support, and coordination with the interprofessional team. You must demonstrate clinical competency in airway management, hemodynamic monitoring, and the unique needs of neonatal patients.
