Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 5x8 day or night shifts with some weekend coverage required
• Function as charge nurse every shift with $3 charge differential
• Maintain 5:1 patient ratio on days, nights, and weekends
• Care for adult and geriatric patients on 39-bed unit
• Must have New York license in hand to submit
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Must have leadership experience in Med/Surg within the past year
• Experience with scheduling and coaching staff required
• EPIC charting experience is mandatory
• Required certifications: BLS and NIHSS
• Travel experience required
• Must live more than 75 miles from facility
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Complete pre-start modules (up to 5 billable hours)
• Skills include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions, oxygen administration, peripheral line care, and use of rapid response teams
• Treat patients with medical diseases including hospice, pain control, diabetes, cardiac conditions, stroke, and telemetry monitoring
• Care for COVID and flu patients with increased oxygen requirements and trach patients on modified assignments
