Operating Room RN Job in Charleston, WV

CAMC Women and Childrens Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for its 30-bed Operating Room serving pediatric patients ages newborn to 17 years. This is a travel position with a 91-day assignment beginning June 25, 2026.

Position Details

• Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts (6:45 AM – 5:15 PM) or 5x8 hour shifts (6:45 AM – 3:15 PM)
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• 6–8 call shifts per month required; self-scheduling available for weeknights and weekends
• Weekly pay: $2,160

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years RN experience
• Minimum 2 years OR RN experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Demonstrated scrub and circulate experience
• BLS certification
• Permanent address minimum 75 miles from facility

Preferred Experience

• Pediatric general OR
• General OR circulating and scrubbing
• IV start skills
• Robotic surgery experience
• Pediatric and women's specialty settings

Key Information

• Will not float to sister facilities
• Blocked schedule cannot be guaranteed based on unit needs
• Charting systems: Cerner, Accudose, SBAR
• Bright blue scrubs required
