ED RN Job in Santa Fe, NM

CHRISTUS St Vincent Regional Medical Center is hiring a travel RN for our Emergency Department. You'll work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with rotating weekend requirements up to 2 per 4-week schedule. This is a 91-day assignment starting April 6, 2026, at $1,995.84 per week.

Your Role

You will coordinate and implement patient care specific to the age of the patient population served. You'll ensure quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner while handling emergency and crisis situations. You must communicate clearly and concisely in ways appropriate to your patients' developmental age.

Responsibilities

• Manage 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced ED environment
• Handle heavy physical effort to position, push, and transfer patients and equipment
• Work rotating weekends as scheduled
• Float to other units when census or acuity is low
• Maintain current knowledge and skills appropriate to patient population served
• Manage exposure to bloodborne pathogens and infectious diseases

Requirements

• Current New Mexico RN license or Compact state license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• TNCC or ATCN certification
• ENPC certification or equivalent
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• Manual dexterity, fine motor coordination, and visual/hearing acuity within normal limits
• CPI or equivalent preferred

You'll work in a professional environment that demands quick decision-making and the ability to remain calm under pressure. No scheduled on-call requirement, though you may be placed on call if the unit or hospital has low census.
