MRI Technologist Job in New Lenox, IL

Silver Cross Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist for a temporary assignment in New Lenox, IL. This is a night shift position running 5x8 hours, with a 91-day duration beginning June 8, 2026. You will earn $2,736 weekly.

Your Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and specialized MRI procedures for inpatients, outpatients, and emergency department patients of all ages
• Verify physician orders and consult with radiologists as needed
• Prepare patients for exams and provide education and instruction
• Administer contrast media and perform all magnetic resonance imaging studies
• Evaluate MRI images for technical quality
• Assist radiologists with MR procedures as requested
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment and associated supplies
• Perform equipment warm-up, calibration, and safety checks
• Operate hospital computer systems and report equipment malfunctions
• Adhere to MRI safety standards and protocols
• Maintain ARRT standards and demonstrate courteous customer service
• Perform assigned supervisory functions as needed
• Handle on-call responsibilities as determined

Requirements:

• Allied Health Professional credential
• ARRT Certification (AMRIT not accepted)
• BLS Certification
• 1 year of recent GE MRI experience
