Telemetry RN Job in Des Moines, IA

You'll work as an RN in the Telemetry unit at MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center, providing direct patient care on a 3x12 night shift schedule (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM). This is a float pool position, so you'll develop flexibility working across multiple medical-surgical floors including orthopedics, neurology step-down, oncology, surgical telemetry, and medical-surgical telemetry units. You may also float to the West Lakes Campus location, approximately 9.5 miles from downtown Des Moines.

Your responsibilities include:

• Monitor patient vital signs and telemetry readings
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Provide comprehensive nursing care for medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Work an every other weekend schedule

This 90-day travel assignment begins May 18, 2026. You'll earn $2,213.64 weekly. Acute care nursing experience is required for this role. Your willingness to adapt to different patient populations and unit environments is essential for success in this float pool position.
