Pharmacist Job in Lander, WY

You will work as a Pharmacist at SH SAGEWEST HEALTH CARE in Lander, Wyoming on a 4x10 days schedule. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning May 4, 2026, with weekly pay of $3,212.

Your Responsibilities

• Compound and dispense medications and pharmaceutical supplies in response to written prescriptions from physicians
• Interpret medication orders and dispense medications according to legal, ethical, and professional standards
• Review patient profiles to ensure appropriate and safe drug therapy
• Perform pharmacokinetics dosing services, including interpreting levels and modifying doses as needed
• Calculate fluid, electrolyte, and calorie needs for patients
• Supervise technical support staff and provide professional guidance to pharmacy personnel
• Maintain aseptic techniques and inspect technician-prepared products prior to release
• Work collaboratively with the Director of Pharmacy according to standard procedures
• Generate required reports, including Pick I.V. and production reports
• Enter a minimum of 40 orders per four-hour shift
• Consult with and advise administration, medical staff, and hospital staff on quality, regulatory, and risk issues
• Support clinical and medical staff as a pharmacy consultant
• Maintain security of the pharmacy and controlled substances
• Participate in performance improvement plans within the hospital

Requirements

• Valid Wyoming Board of Pharmacy license
• BLS certification through American Heart Association
• 1 year recent pharmacy experience in a hospital setting (preferred)
• Competence in age-appropriate treatment for adult and geriatric populations (ages 18 through 65+)
