CVOR Registered Nurse Job in Nashville, TN

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Vasculature Operating Room (CVOR) at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 27, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• 3 shifts per week, 12-hour days (7:00 AM–7:00 PM)
• Monday through Friday, with days varying based on unit needs
• Block schedule not available
• Weekly pay: $2,969.64
• Call rotation required for all cardiac surgery travelers; call assignments distributed fairly among staff

Role Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate cardiac surgeries
• Handle diverse case types: neuro, trauma, general, ortho, GYN, urology, ENT, plastics, cardiothoracic, vascular, transplant (liver, renal, pancreas), robotic, and hybrid rooms
• Manage patient diagnoses including open heart, transplant, and trauma/neuro cases
• Work with adult patient population only; no pediatrics
• May float between OR units but not locations

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years CVOR experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Complete COVID-19 vaccine series or valid exemption by start date
