Opportunity:
Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology
Job Details:
• Weekend shifts on an as-needed basis
• Travel experience required; no first-time travelers accepted
• Patients served are adults
• Required certifications: ARRT (N), BLS, CNMT, National Certification
• Additional preferred certifications: ACLS, ARRT R, NCT, NMTCB, PET
• Preferred skills include: 3 Phase, Abdominal, Adenosine Infusion, Bone, Brain, Cancer Survey, Captopril, Cerebral Blood Flow, Drawing Venous Blood, DTPA Aerosol, Exercise/Rest, Flow/Function, Gastric Emptying, HIDA Scan, I-123 Uptake Scan, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Liver Imaging and Scanning, Muga Scan, Nuclear Cardiology, PET Scan, Perfusion, Pharmacological Stress, Renal, Sestamibi Parathyroid Scan, Starting and Maintaining IVs, Storing/Handling/Disposal of Radioactive Materials, Thallium Stress Test, Ventilation/Perfusion, Whole Body Scanning, and MPI Cardio Spect
• Experience with imaging systems including Hitachi, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Charting system experience preferred
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Lift Teams, Rapid Response Teams, and Transportation
• Requested time off must be submitted at time of confirmation; maximum of 7 days allowed and no RTO will be approved after contract is confirmed
• Schedules cannot be adjusted once contract is confirmed
