About this role
You'll work as an Occupational Therapist in a long-term care setting at Tide Health Group - Thunder Care and Rehab in Moore, OK. This is a 91-day assignment with a start date of April 20, 2026, working day shifts.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders
- Develop appropriate plans of care following all regulatory and clinical practice standards
- Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions
- Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions
- Administer ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, and modalities
- Use supportive and assistive devices as part of rehabilitation plans
- Assess patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly in clinical records
- Evaluate treatment outcomes and modify services based on patient evaluation
- Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers
- Communicate with your supervisor and health team members regarding patient progress and treatment plans
- Document all regulatory and clinically required information in the electronic documentation system
- Record treatment minutes accurately per regulatory and clinical requirements
- Participate in patient care conferences and utilization review meetings
- Attend facility and company required trainings and in-services
- Supervise and support occupational therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and students
Schedule and compensation: You'll work 5 days per week, 8-hour day shifts. No weekend work required. Weekly pay is $2,390.40.
Requirements: You must hold an active Oklahoma OT license and have 1 or more years of OT experience in long-term care or rehabilitation. New graduates with Level II fieldwork experience are considered. You must adhere to NBCOT and state required practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics standards.
