PCU RN Job in Akron, OH

You'll work as an RN in a 32-bed Cardiac Progressive Care/Telemetry unit at Akron Campus, specializing in congestive heart failure (CHF) care. This is a night shift position on a 3x12 schedule, with a patient ratio of 1:5.

What you'll do:

• Deliver direct patient care in a progressive care/telemetry setting
• Manage heparin drips and administer blood products
• Perform EKG interpretations and monitor rhythm changes
• Draw blood and start/maintain IVs
• Provide nursing care to cardiac patients with CHF diagnoses

What we're looking for:

• RN degree from an ACEN or CCNE-accredited program
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in PCU/Telemetry
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Epic experience within the last year
• Ability to float to other units as needed
• Solid black scrubs required

Assignment details:

• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: July 19, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,264.40
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off during assignment
• No RTO (Return Time Off) allowed during first two weeks
• No block-scheduling requests accepted
