Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job in Avon, IN

You'll work as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at IU Health West Hospital in Avon, Indiana, providing diagnostic nuclear medicine services to adult and geriatric patients. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 29, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• 4x10 days schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
• 40 hours guaranteed per workweek
• Weekly pay: $2,822.40

Your Role

You'll perform nuclear cardiology studies, bone scans, HIDA scans, renal perfusion imaging, and handle radioactive materials according to protocol. You'll use the Cerner charting system and may float to other facilities based on operational need.

Requirements

• Allied Health Professional credential
• 2 years of nuclear medicine experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Current Indiana state license
• BLS certification
• CNMT or NMTCB certification
• Cerner charting system experience
• All licenses and certifications must be in hand prior to start date
• Flu vaccine required (medical and religious exemptions accepted)
• First-time travelers welcome
