Electrophysiology Technician Job in Des Moines, IA

UnityPoint – Iowa Methodist Medical Center is seeking an Electrophysiology Technician for a 91-day travel assignment in Des Moines, IA. This is a full-time position working 4x10 rotating days with no on-call responsibilities and no weekend shifts required.

Position Overview

You will support electrophysiology procedures across all Des Moines campuses. This role offers stability with predictable scheduling while allowing you to apply your EP expertise in a respected healthcare setting. You may be required to work 1–2 upcoming holidays unless the unit is closed, and you will float to like units across Des Moines facilities as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 12 months of Electrophysiology (EP) experience required
• Minimum 24 months of EP experience highly preferred
• Stim experience required
• ARRT certification required
• RCIS or RCES certification accepted and preferred
• Cardiac Cath lab experience preferred
• Travel experience highly preferred
• Skills checklist must be specific to Electrophysiology/EP or Cardiac Cath/CCL discipline
• Work history must reflect 24 months of current Electrophysiology/EP or Cardiac Cath/CCL experience
• Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the last 24 months preferred
• Valid driver's license required
