Pharmacist Acute Care Job in Joplin, MO

You'll work as a Pharmacist in acute care at Mercy Hospital Joplin, a tertiary facility serving high-acuity patients. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting February 19, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• 4x10 shift schedule, Monday through Friday
• Shift times: 10:30 AM – 9:00 PM or 12:30 PM – 11:00 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours weekly
• No weekend hours or call requirements
• Weekly pay: $2,628

Your Responsibilities

• Evaluate medication orders for clinical and operational problems
• Monitor drug therapy through chart reviews and patient interactions
• Coordinate with department operational staff
• Participate in investigational protocols as needed
• Precept undergraduate and Pharm.D. students
• Support continuing education through presentations and lectures

Required Qualifications

• 1–3 years of pharmacist experience in acute care, critical care, or teaching setting
• Missouri pharmacist license
• Flu vaccination required November 1 – April 1

Preferred Qualifications

• BCP certification
• Recent EPIC experience

Additional Requirements

• Ability to work independently in a high-acuity environment
• Black scrubs required
