ED - Emergency Room

RN - ED ER Adult

Job Details:

• Work in a collaborative and cooperative relationship with other members of the health care team
• Plan and implement patient and family education
• Assess patient needs and initiate appropriate interventions
• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to patient health and situation
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment
• Comply with hospital policies and procedures related to care for patients with hyper acute and acute stroke
• Participate in 4 hours annually of stroke education
• Complete 6 hours of verifiable trauma-related education annually
• Schedule may require working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts
• On-call work may be required
• Minimum 1 year of emergency nursing or critical care experience required
• Current Montana RN licensure required
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale Certification, AHA PALS or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• Must live at least 90 miles away from the facility to be considered
