Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Richmond, VA

Join CJW Medical Center Chippenham Campus as a travel RN in our Cardiac Cath Lab. This is a 91-day assignment running 4x10 days per week, 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with a weekly pay of $2,861.60. Your assignment begins May 27, 2026.

About the Role

You will work in an interventional cardiac catheterization lab equipped with 3 cath labs and 10–11 staff per day. Your responsibilities include performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, assisting with Impella and balloon-pump procedures, supporting peripheral cases and complex PCIs, and occasionally assisting with device procedures. The lab maintains a 3-staff-per-room patient ratio.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• RCIS certification required
• RT certification required
• Experience in interventional cardiac cath lab is required
• Experience in high-volume lab handling complex cases is preferred
• Ability to report to the hospital within 30 minutes of call-back

What to Expect

You will work with GE X-ray/MacLab equipment and Meditech EMR system. The lab operates in a fast-paced environment and may require on-call responsibilities for some weekends and weekdays. Light blue scrubs are provided by the hospital. Floating to other areas is not required.
