Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Rochester, NY

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab at Rochester – Unity Hospital. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 27, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• 4 ten-hour shifts per week, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Average 8–10 call shifts per month, including 1–2 weekends per month based on rotation
• Weekly pay: $3,245.76

Role Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required; IR-only experience is not accepted
• You must have demonstrated experience in both Cardiac Cath Lab and IR Lab settings
• New York nursing license required at time of submission
• EPIC charting experience is mandatory
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Competency in phlebotomy and IV placement is mandatory
• You will float as needed across assignments

Responsibilities

You will care for adult and geriatric patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, as well as IR lab patients requiring drains, tubes, kyphoplasty, biopsies, and related interventions. Your clinical scope includes cardiac stent placement, diagnostic catheterizations, IABP placement and removal, Impella insertion, percutaneous coronary interventions, left and right heart catheterization, pacemaker and defibrillator lead extraction, pulmonary artery line monitoring, angioplasty, gastrostomy tube placement, liver biopsy, paracentesis, embolization, nephrostomy, renal angiography, renal artery stent placement, uterine arterial embolization, chest tube placement, lung biopsy, pulmonary angiography, central venous access, dialysis graft creation and revision, endovascular interventions, stent graft placement, upper and lower extremity angiography, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, and dysrhythmia interpretation and management.
