Respiratory Therapist Job in Jamestown, NY

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 90-day travel assignment at NEW UPMC Chautauqua in Jamestown, NY. This is a full-time position working 3x12 evening shifts, starting July 20, 2026.

About the Role

You will provide respiratory therapy services and life support to patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies and abnormalities. Working under the general direction of a physician and by prescription, you will serve all patient populations across all patient service areas within the facility.

Your Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and manage patient airways
• Monitor and maintain life support equipment
• Assess patient cardiopulmonary status and respond to clinical changes
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
• Document care and communicate with nursing and medical staff
• Support high-need night shift coverage as required

Requirements

• Active RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential required
• Current state licensure in New York
• Ability to work 12-hour evening shifts with flexibility for varying schedules
• Experience with acute care respiratory therapy preferred
