ED RN Job in Jefferson City, TN

Tennova – Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Jefferson City, TN is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in the Emergency Department. This is a night shift position working 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 3 days per week for 12 hours per shift. The assignment runs for 84 days, beginning September 14, 2026, with a weekly pay rate of $1,839.60.

Position Details:

• 16-bed emergency department with a 4:1 variable patient ratio
• No on-call responsibilities
• No floating to other units
• No 48-hour shifts
• Night shift only (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
• Scrub color required: Royal Blue
• EMR system: Cerner FirstNet

Qualifications Required:

• Minimum 1 year of emergency department experience
• Active RN licensure
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
• CPI certification (may be obtained after contract start; training provided on site)
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Clinical Responsibilities and Skills:

• Triage and patient assessment
• Critical thinking and clinical judgment
• IV/IO access and management
• Chest tube management
• Catheterization
• Critical care drip management and medication administration
• Cardiac monitoring and critical care assessment

Time Off and Contract Terms:

• Time off requests must be submitted in the sub packet and made up at the end of the contract
• RTO blackout during Labor Day

This is a straightforward night shift opportunity with no floating, on-call, or extended shifts. You will work in a structured 16-bed ED environment with clear patient ratios and defined responsibilities.
