Ultrasound Technologist Job in Bozeman, MT

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment at Bozeman Deaconess Hospital in Bozeman, Montana. This is a night shift position working 3x12 hours per week, with weekly compensation of $2,516.

About the Role

You will perform ultrasound examinations and procedures in both inpatient and outpatient acute care settings. Working primarily independently in a highly complex environment, you will assist physicians and medical staff during exams and procedures, complete all required documentation for proper interpretation and reporting, and retrieve and review previous studies and health information to ensure timely performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound exams and procedures in inpatient and outpatient settings
• Assist physicians and medical staff during examinations and procedures
• Complete documentation required for interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams
• Retrieve and review previous studies, reports, and written orders
• Participate in implementation, monitoring, and improvement of quality indicators

Requirements

• Allied Health Professional credential with minimum 2 years post-graduation experience in advanced ultrasound practice
• ARDMS certification in a minimum of one category (OB/Gyn or Abdomen/Small Parts)
• ARDMS certification in a minimum of one advanced category (Fetal Echocardiography, Breast, Pediatrics, Registered Vascular Technology, or Musculoskeletal)
• BLS (AHA) certification
• 5 years post-graduation experience in advanced ultrasound practice preferred
• Must live at least 90 miles away from the facility

Assignment Details

Assignment begins September 3, 2026. The schedule includes nights and may require working beyond 40 hours per week, including weekends and after-hours shifts. On-call work may be required. The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract due to low census or unforeseen circumstances.
