Telemetry RN Job in Augusta, GA

Join Piedmont Augusta Hospital as a Registered Nurse in our Telemetry unit. This is a 98-day travel assignment beginning June 22, 2026, offering you the opportunity to provide specialized cardiac care in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Assignment Details

• Shift: 3x12 nights per week
• Weekly pay: $1,918.08
• Work every other weekend unless otherwise specified
• No call requirements
• Maximum 7 days RTO per contract; blackout dates during Spring Break (April 4–12)

Your Role

You will care for adults and geriatric patients in a 36-bed telemetry unit with an average daily census of 35. Patient ratios are 1:4–5. Your responsibilities include telemetry monitoring, cardiac care, management of vasoactive drips (milrinone, dobutamine, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Lidocaine, Bumex, and Heparin without titration), blood product administration, central line care, IV management, and wound care. You will manage patients with diagnoses including CHF, MI/chest pain, dysrhythmias, hypertension/hypotension, pleural effusion, sepsis, and PE/DVT/vascular issues.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• BLS and ACLS certification required (NIH preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience (first-time travelers accepted)
• Proficiency with Epic charting system, Pyxis, and SBAR communication
• Ability to float within facility and scope of practice as needed
• Compliance with navy blue scrub color requirement
• Must work major holidays if they fall during assignment period
