Opportunity:

RN - Trauma ICU

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 night shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No on-call requirements
• Schedule varies based on department needs and can include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts
• Required to pick up one additional shift during each 4-week schedule period
• May be required to work major holidays
• May be required to float to other areas of the organization up to competency level
• Provide multidisciplinary care to trauma and surgical patients in a 27-bed Beacon Designation Intensive Care Unit
• Care for patients with a wide range of traumatic injuries including Spinal Cord Injuries, TBI, Extremity Fractures, and Solid Organ Injuries
• Care for surgical patients including Craniotomies, Craniectomies, and Multiple Bowel Surgeries
• Provide comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and their families/caregivers
• Minimum 2 years of Trauma ICU experience required
• CCRN strongly preferred but not required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS (APEX)
• Nevada RN license required prior to start
