Trauma ICU RN Job in Reno, NV

Renown Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for its 27-bed Trauma ICU. You will work the night shift and provide multidisciplinary care to trauma and surgical patients, including adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients and their families.

Schedule & Pay

• Three 12-hour night shifts per week with 36 guaranteed hours
• Weekly pay: $2,496.60
• Contract duration: 91 days
• Start date: July 27, 2026
• No on-call requirements
• One additional shift pickup required during each 4-week schedule period
• Schedule varies based on department needs and may include weekends, holidays, and occasional call shifts
• May be required to work major holidays

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with traumatic injuries including Spinal Cord Injuries, TBI, Extremity Fractures, and Solid Organ Injuries
• Care for surgical patients undergoing Craniotomies, Craniectomies, and Multiple Bowel Surgeries
• Float to other areas of the organization up to your competency level as needed

Requirements

• Nevada RN license required prior to start
• Minimum 2 years of Trauma ICU experience
• BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS (APEX) certifications required
• CCRN strongly preferred but not required
