Job Details:

• Shift may start anytime between 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM - must be flexible
• Competently perform routine and specialized radiation treatments in accordance with physician-developed treatment plans
• Work independently, exercising sound judgment and developed clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures
• Deliver accurate results in a timely manner while gaining confidence and cooperation from patients, their families/support groups, and other healthcare providers
• Perform competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication
• Adhere to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care
• May be responsible for performing specific procedures and/or orienting other staff to the department
• Treat adult and geriatric patient populations
• Daily census of 50 patients
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: ARRT T, BLS
• California state license required
• Preferred experience: Elekta, Mosaiq, and AlignRT
• Required skills: Benign Brain Tumors, Elekta Infinity, External Beam Therapy, Heterotopic Bone, IMRT - Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy, Prophylactic Treatments, Prostate Cancer with Seeds/Fiducials, Radiation Safety, Respiratory Gating, Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), Vision RT
