ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ED

Job Details:

• Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• No on-call responsibilities
• No floating required
• No 48-hour shifts
• Requested time off must be submitted in advance and made up at end of contract
• RTO blackout during Labor Day
• 16-bed emergency department with a 4:1 variable patient ratio
• Scrub color: Royal Blue
• EMR system: FirstNet - Cerner
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
• CPI required but may be obtained after contract start (provided on site)
• Minimum 1 year of emergency department experience required
• RN licensure required
• Must be comfortable with critical care assessment and management, IV skills, and cardiac monitoring
• Scope of practice includes triage of patients, critical thinking, assessment skills, IV/IO, chest tube management, catheterization, and critical care drip management
