Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Day and night rotation schedule
• Early start dates (8/3 or 8/17) will be 48-hour schedules per week
• Later start dates (8/31 or later) will be 36-hour schedules per week
• On-call responsibilities required
• Work on a 36-bed adult surgical unit caring for primarily orthopedic and trauma patients
• Additional specialties include plastics, general surgery, and other surgical specialties
• Focus on mobilizing and rehabilitating post-surgical patients
• Required experience with chest tubes
• Required experience with drips including Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, and amiodarone
• Required experience with lines, tubes, and drains for post-surgical patients
• Required experience with trachs and laryngectomies
• Required experience with telemetry monitoring
• Required experience with complex wound care
• Required experience with central line care, maintenance, and blood draws
