Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, Monday through Friday from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM
• Weekend on-call rotation required (one weekend, 24 hours, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM per month)
• Weeknight on-call required (one weeknight 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, rotation varies)
• Holiday call rotation as needed
• Call response time is 30 minutes; if more than 30 minutes away and on-call, provider may be required to stay
• Float to outpatient surgery as needed
• Charge nurse rotation included
• 9 operating rooms, 1 procedure room, and 1 hybrid room; averages 35-45 cases per day
• Common cases include general, ENT, eyes, ortho, robotics (Da Vinci and Rosa), neuro spine, trauma, vascular, and pediatric dental and ENT; all surgical cases except CVOR and L&D C-sections
• Must have experience passing arms in and out for robotics
• Must have experience with all specialties for evening and night shift; overnight RN works with 2 techs and must be comfortable working in that capacity
• Ortho experience required
• 2-3 years of experience in OR specialty required
• Must be proficient with EPIC EMR
• Scrubs are provided for RN and OR Techs
• Unit orientation consists of 3 shifts over 1 week
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA); PALS preferred
• BSN not required
• Valid RN license required
