Telemetry RN Job in Rochester, NY

You will work as a registered nurse on a telemetry unit at URMC Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York. This 89-week travel assignment begins August 3, 2026, and offers you the opportunity to deliver specialized care to patients with complex neurological conditions including stroke, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Guillain-Barré syndrome, and other acute neurological disorders.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced telemetry environment
• Monitor patients using continuous video EEG technology to evaluate, diagnose, and treat seizures
• Work on a rotating shift schedule that includes days, evenings, and nights
• Manage on-call and charge responsibilities as needed by the unit
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary specialty team to support acute and complex patient needs
• Demonstrate weekend and holiday availability

Schedule and Compensation

You will work 48 hours per week on a rotating shift basis with 12-hour shifts. Your weekly pay is $2,419.56.

Requirements

• Current and valid New York RN license (New York license required)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Demonstrated telemetry experience
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
