Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapist Adult

Job Details:

• Work 3x12-hour shifts per week with rotating days and varied shifts
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Schedule may include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts
• May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during schedule period
• Call requirements to be discussed during interview
• Perform respiratory therapy procedures per protocol and physician orders for patients ranging from newborn to geriatric ages
• Work primarily in critical care units, adult general care, and pediatric general care
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and initiate or modify patient care plans under established protocols
• Responsible for proper documentation of all patient records and department logs
• May be required to float to other departments up to competency level
• Must have 2+ years of acute care respiratory therapy experience
• Must have recent critical care experience
• Prior travel experience of one 13-week assignment required
• Required licenses: RRT, Nevada State License, and must apply for State of Nevada Point of Care Analyst license, Director of Point of Care, or General Supervisor of Point of Care prior to start
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS required prior to start
• License must be in hand prior to submission
