Job Details:

• Work 3x12-hour shifts per week with rotating days and varied shifts
• 36 hours guaranteed per week
• Call requirements to be discussed during interview
• Schedule may include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts
• May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during schedule period
• Perform respiratory therapy procedures per protocol and physician orders to improve cardiopulmonary conditions of patients from newborn to geriatric ages
• Work primarily with patients in critical care units, adult general care, and pediatric general care
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for Neonatal, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric patients and families
• Initiate or modify patient plans of care following predetermined and structured protocol orders
• Maintain proper documentation of all patient records and department logs
• May be required to float to other areas of the organization up to competency level
• Must have 2+ years of acute care respiratory therapy experience
• Recent critical care experience required
• PICU and NICU experience required
• Prior travel experience of one 13-week assignment required
• Required licenses: RRT, Nevada State License, and Nevada Point of Care Analyst license, Director of Point of Care, or General Supervisor of Point of Care required prior to start
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS required prior to start
