Respiratory Therapist Job in Reno, Nevada

Renown Regional Medical Center is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our respiratory care services team. You will work 3x12-hour rotating shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Your schedule will vary based on department needs and may include weekends, holidays, and call shifts. You may be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during the schedule period.

In this role, you will perform respiratory therapy procedures per protocol and those ordered by physicians. You will work primarily with patients in critical care units, adult general care, and pediatric general care. Your responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients from newborn to geriatric ages. You will initiate or modify patient plans of care following predetermined and structured protocol orders and maintain proper documentation of all patient records and department logs.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• 2+ years of acute care respiratory therapy experience
• Recent critical care experience
• Prior travel experience of one 13-week assignment
• Active RRT credential and Nevada State License (must be in hand before submitting)
• Must apply for State of Nevada Point of Care Analyst license, Director of Point of Care, or General Supervisor of Point of Care prior to start
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required prior to start

You may be required to float to the needs of the organization up to your competency level. This 91-day assignment begins October 19, 2026, and offers weekly pay of $2,250.
