Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele Float Pool

Job Details:

• Float Pool position covering all inpatient Medical-Surgical units, step down units, and ED (for med surg holds)
• 9 medical-surgical units and 5 step down units across two campuses
• Every other weekend requirement
• Agency staff are not scheduled on holidays, but must be available for days surrounding 1-2 holidays during the contract
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 on standard Med Surg units (may vary slightly based on unit acuity and staffing)
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg experience required, no new graduates
• Must be comfortable floating between multiple units and adapting quickly to varying patient populations and unit workflows
• Required to function independently and demonstrate strong clinical judgment
• Strong EPIC proficiency required
• Compliance with attendance, documentation standards, and medication safety protocols expected
• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS (ACLS and TNCC preferred)
• No more than 5 days of requested time off; if 5 consecutive days, additional time may be added to the back end of the contract
• Virtual interviewing process utilized for this position
