Electrophysiology Technician

Opportunity:

Rad Tech - X-ray Tech

Job Details:

• Day shift position working Friday through Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Mix of 10-hour and 12-hour shifts available for both days and nights
• Schedule posted at least 2 weeks in advance
• Weekend requirement varies - some shifts are every weekend and some are every other weekend depending on department needs
• Holiday requirement applies if scheduled shift falls on a holiday
• Some on-call may be required on occasion with a 45-minute response time
• Float between General X-ray, Fluoroscopy, OR, ED, and Portables
• Perform all General X-ray, Fluoroscopy, and OR exams across 4 general X-ray rooms and 2 fluoroscopy rooms
• Average of 80-100 studies performed per 24-hour period
• Work with department equipment including 3 GE general X-ray rooms, 1 Shimadzu X-ray room, GE Fluoroscopy room, GE portables, and OEC C-Arms
• Use EMR system EPIC and PACS system SECTRA with Windows computer software
• Radiologist on site 24/7
• Personal scrubs in any professional color are acceptable; hospital scrubs provided only for staff working in the OR
• Department orientation typically consists of the first three days
• Valid driver's license required at time of submittal
• Must have own lead markers
• Washington state license required in hand at time of submittal
• Radiation badge required prior to starting assignment
• Required certifications: ARRT RT (R), BLS Certification
